Shoes for Tomorrow

          TOMS shoes have been an ongoing trend for the past year, though they came on the scene back in 2006. The shoes, which are made from canvas and come in many different styles, are modeled after the Argentinian alpargata shoe; What was once a casual every day shoe in Argentina is now a world wide trend. The TOMS company also has a non-profit organization called Friends of TOMS. Every time a pair of TOMS is sold, this organization gives a pair of shoes to a child in need; They have given over 1 million shoes to those in need, spanning some 20 countries worldwide! 

          We admit, when we were first introduced to TOMS, (C saw them on our guest blogger Miriam, and J on a few people in NYC), we weren't big fans. But once we tried them on, respectively, we fell in love and hopped on the TOMS bandwagon; They are so comfortable! And they come in a multitude of different colors, patterns and styles.
